Merry Christmas Everyone!!!
Sorry no pictures this time either my camera is dying or I have forgotten how to use it. Hopefully it's just me :)
Christmas is my favorite holiday and with it comes a busy month. We have had dance performances, preschool performances, parties and more parties. All the kids have done great with their performances and we are so proud of them.
Bray has received several compliments this year as to how good she is doing in dance. She has opened up a little more and has started to really look like she's actually enjoying herself instead of Mom forcing her to dance.
Mason sang at the festival of trees with his preschool class and did really good. I was a little worried because all morning he kept telling me, "He was not going, he was not going to sing, and he was not going to wear a Santa hat or antlers." Once he got up there, he sang his little heart out and even wore the hat.
Kaedyn got asked to sing at our ward Christmas party. At first he was not to happy about the whole idea, but thanks to Sister Petersen she made it fun and even took him to DQ and bought him a huge ice cream cone. Of course that had nothing to do with him liking her after that and saying she was so cool!!! He sang, " I'm Gettin Nuttin For Christmas" with a group of boys and they got to dress up as baseball players. They did such a good job :)
Shalissa had her Young Women in Excellence and all the girls made a quilt of the Twin Falls Temple. They all looked really good and it was a spiritual night as they all spoke of an experience they had during the temple celebration and open house. It's amazing the strength these youth have and how strong the spirit is with them. They are submitting their pictures of their quilts to The Friend so keep an eye out for that.
And now the Holiday baking begins and the spirit of giving is so strong that we will be very busy for the next little while. We are so grateful for our families and friends and everything the Lord blesses us with each day. We our so grateful for our Savior and the gospel in our lives and the happiness that we share because of the knowledge that we have. So this Christmas let us remember the true meaning of Christmas and the birth of Jesus Christ.
